Olde Time Soda Fountain in Apalachicola

Great service, polite employees but the ice cream was average.

Quick service, friendly atmosphere. It's a bit pricey so you may be better off buying a gallon at the local grocery store.

Throw back in time soda shop and gift shop. Lots of tourist gifts and souvenirs. Great ice cream, hand scooped, hot dogs and hamburgers with table or fountain seating. The employee's are very friendly and helpful. Kids and adults will enjoy the experience.

A great place to stop for ice cream, while touring the Apalachicola area. A wide selection and the staff is very nice and helpful.

Nice little old time ice cream store.

We chose this place because we thought it would be a authentic Soda Fountain. It is not. There ice cream selection is very limited. They close at 6pm and we arrived around 5pm. I was surprised of there limited hours given they are in a touristy area. The lady had already closed down everything so we felt we would inconvenience her. I asked for an egg cream and she made one. It was not what I had had before at another soda fountain in Gulf Shores. I am sure she made it correctly by the recipe. She didn’t charge me for it and let me take the drink with me.

A very cool place.

If you are pro Trump, you will enjoy the stickers on the window. If you are not, you may view the stickers as hateful. Regardless of your political position, be warned of the very odd smell inside. We opted to go to the Chocolate and Coffee Company a few doors down for ice cream instead because the smell was a bit overwhelming.

Most everyone that went to the local high school came here everyday afterwards. There's nothing better than a Gulf Breeze Cooler on a hot day or any day really. Lime sherbet with a splash of 7-Up. Mmmm good!

We heard great things about this place, but unfortunately the stickers on the front made up our minds to try somewhere else. Sad!

The name is misleading. I think at one time (maybe 30 years ago) it may have been a soda shop but now it is a souvenir shop that happens to have ice cream. Nothing particularly special about it. I went in expecting one thing and came out with a magnet.

Clean, cool inside, and squared away, down to the smallest sea shell! Shelby, one of the employees, talks to you, and greets all that come in...is fast and helpful. Completely understanding and compassionate with kids!

Kind of a junk shop that has ice cream. Nothing made in house. A little of a disappointment.

These girls are so sweet. Pure southern country girls.... We love Blue Bell ice cream. They have a great selection. Will give you a great portion too. Waffle, sugar and regular cones. Cups too. Sundaes, banana splits, floats and milk shakes. All ate great! The store itself has a tremendous selection of sovereigns for the area! Really nice stuffed animals, cook books and other interesting books on shells, wild life, and marine life. A very neat place to go to shop for the person who has everything! Yes T-shirts too!!!!When you go take note of the signs in bathroom.....very hilarious! !!!

The best ice cream ever. Classic to Apalachicola. Plenty of souvenirs to choose from as well.

One of the best dessert places in Apalach! When my family stays on Saint George Island and we head in to town for dinner my brother and I always visit. I get ice cream and he gets jellybeans. I also buy my postcards here. They're 25 cents a pop! They also sell postage for postcards too. This is a must visit for ANY trip to Apalach!
